On yer bike...
That's right. Cycling's a really good way to get fit and have fun. If you don't want to do anything too strenuous then make sure you're on flat ground for an easy ride. And don't forget to wear a helmet - it might not be the height of fashion but it's better to be safe than sorry, eh?
Skateboarding
Fancy yourself as the next Tony Hawkes. Then get your skateboard out. They're a great way of whizzing to the shops and there are also a number of skateboard parks throughout the country there's bound to be one near you. Just don't forget to wear protection before you venture out in public!
Walk the dog...
OK, this sounds obvious but it is a great way to exercise without breaking into a sweat. And if you haven't got a dog why not offer a dog walking service to family & friends who do? That way you might earn some cash and get fit. Don't forget the pooper scooper though! Fitness videos...
Exercising on your own can be really boring so why not invite your best mate round to try out an exercise video. There are loads to choose from and you can rent them from your local video shop too. Try something fun like boxercise, salsacise or yoga for something a bit different.

Shopping...
What better excuse to hit the shops than the fact that all that walking around carrying bags full of the latest threads will burn calories? And if you're broke then there's nothing wrong with window-shopping and trying on clothes just for fun. Obstacle (of) course...
Raid your dad's garden shed - and get creative by making your own DIY obstacle course! Build one with your mates using old rope, tyres, buckets etc. Use you imagination to make it as fun as possible and then see who can make it round in the quickest time. Use of a cold sprinkler is optional.
Cricket...
Yawn! Some people think it's the nation's most boring sport but it's actually really fun and you don't have to play by the rules anyway. You need at least five people (bowler, batsman, wicket keeper and 2 fielders) but could play with as many as 20 fielding if you wanted. All you need is a bat, a tennis ball and a bit of open space and you're away. Other cool games to play with a bat and ball are Rounders & Softball Howzat!
Footie...
OK, so this one's a bit obvious but there's nothing better than a kick around to build up a sweat. Sort out a five-a-side match with your mates in the park or practice your free kicks in the garden. What are you waiting for?
Frisbee...
Never under estimate the power of the frisbee - it's fun, tones up your arms and gets the attention of the person you fancy if you lob it in their direction! But seriously, some people play frisbee professionally and it's a great way to pass the time in the park or on the beach. Practice your throw in the garden and remember - it's all in the wrist.
